Copyright Policy Counter-Notice

You can submit a counter-notice in the event where you believe that a notice of copyright infringement has been improperly submitted against you.

The Counter-Notice must at least contain the following Information:

  • Personal Information – your name, physical or electronic signature, address, email address, and telephone number
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim to be removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or a misidentification
  • A statement under penalty of perjury stating the copyrighted work was removed or disabled as a result of an error or a misidentification, signed in good faith
  • A statement that you:
    • Consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in the judicial district where your address is located if the address is in the United States, or the United District Court for the Southern District of New York (Manhattan) if your address is located outside of the United States, and,
    • Accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice of the alleged copyright infringement.
